The role may involve working in an office building, across campus grounds/garages, a mall, or a hospital, with patrol options on foot, cart, or bike. The position requires flexibility to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Provide excellent customer service to clients and guests.
- Conduct regular interior and exterior patrols on foot or via golf cart.
- Report and follow up on security, service, and maintenance issues immediately.
- Identify and report potential threats, hazardous conditions, and suspicious activity.
- Manage conflicts using de‑escalation skills and effective communication.
- Respond to incidents and document them in the Incident Management System.
- Follow Post Orders, Emergency, Incident, and Action Plans.
- Use Microsoft Outlook, Teams, and basic computer software; type incident reports with photos and statements.
- Work varied schedules, including nights, weekends, holidays, and possible disaster assistance.
- Remain calm under pressure, exercise good judgment, and work independently.
