  • Prepare specifications and project design criteria.
  • Prepare construction documents including plan and profile drawings, structure loading trees, and foundation assembly drawings.
  • Occasional travel to client and project locations will be expected.
  • Design of high and extra-high voltage (69-500kV) transmission lines using PLS-CADD.
  • Provide field support during construction.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering may be substituted for 1 year experience.
  • Experience in HVDC is a plus.
  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • The ideal candidate will be able to build and maintain strong relationships with clients as well as provide technical leadership, guidance and instruction to less experienced staff members.
  • Bachelor of Science in Engineering from an ABET accredited program or bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited program and successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering (FE) exam.
  • 3 years related transmission line design experience.
  • Experience in scheduling and budgeting.
  • Consulting or utility experience preferred.
