Perform independent audits and reviews of technical work.
Serve as a technical lead capable of solving complex issues and responsible for the quality of deliverables.
Provide technical guidance and coordinate the work of engineers of equal or lesser experience to successfully deliver projects.
Travel to project sites as needed to perform site walkdowns.
Support proposal preparation, including estimates and input to scope documents and client presentations.
Communicate technical issues and solutions effectively with project personnel and external clients.
Ensure proper document management procedures are followed and that drawings meet applicable standards.
Prepare technical specifications and provide procurement support.
Perform auxiliary electrical power system studies, including load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, protection and coordination, ampacity, and battery sizing studies.
Complete tasks in accordance with project procedures, applicable codes and standards, schedule requirements, and budget constraints.
Conduct substation grounding calculations and studies, lightning protection and insulation coordination, lighting, bus calculations, transformer and bus sizing calculations, fault calculations, and AC/DC auxiliary system sizing calculations.
Ensure deliverables meet Worley and client quality standards.
Lead substation physical design, including overall engineering and analysis for new switchyards and substations, as well as additions and modifications.
Develop engineering drawings, including layouts and general arrangements for all major equipment and structures required for highvoltage switchyards or substations. Drawings include site plans, plan and elevation views, grounding, conduit, lighting, lightning protection and shielding, control building arrangements and details, AC station service, DC systems, and bills of material.
Interface with other departmental staff, project management, and external clients.
