Present papers and submit articles for publication that summarize the technology and development in the PBE discipline (e.g., USSD, ASDSO, NHA and CEATI).
Use PBE techniques to support structural assessment and evaluation of concrete dams due to earthquake events.
Support the development of engineering proposals and qualification statements.
Develop structural models to simulate test response.
Evaluate structural behavior using systems theory, fragility techniques, and performance limits.

Company
Overview
From its headquarters in Virginia, it blends technical design and on‑site build for tunnels, dams, foundations and retention systems.
Typical projects include data center foundations, stadium ramp support, sewer installations and gravity‑retaining walls.
Their team engineered thousands of earth‑retention systems—soldier piles, soil nails, secant piles, jet grouting, micropiles—spanning remote and urban sites.
Known for pioneering permanent soil‑nail and tie‑back systems, turning temporary shoring solutions into long‑term engineering staples.
