Senior Architecture Engineer

Description

The Senior Architecture Engineer is responsible for leading the architectural design and technical supervision of projects from concept to completion. This includes developing detailed architectural drawings, coordinating with other engineering disciplines, reviewing design documents, ensuring compliance with local building codes and standards, and providing technical guidance to junior architects and site teams.

• Prepare, review, and approve architectural drawings, specifications, and material submittals.
• Review and evaluate shop drawings and as-built drawings submitted by contractors.
• Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and company standards.
• Participate in design and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and contractors.
• Stay updated with the latest trends, materials, and technologies in architecture and construction.
• Assist in project planning, cost estimation, and material selection.
• Supervise and review the work of junior architects and draftsmen to ensure design accuracy and quality.
• Coordinate with structural, mechanical, electrical, and civil engineers to ensure full integration of architectural design with all disciplines.
• Lead the design development process for architectural projects, ensuring alignment with project requirements, budgets, and timelines.
• Conduct site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure architectural design intent is maintained.
• Provide technical input and recommendations for design improvements and value engineering.

Requirements

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, and other design software.
• Strong understanding of building codes, standards, and construction methods.
• Attention to detail, creativity, and problem-solving mindset.
• Strong leadership and communication abilities.
• Excellent technical drawing and detailing skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in architectural engineering.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in architectural design and construction supervision, preferably within large-scale residential, commercial, or mixed-use projects.
