Develop and maintain an in-depth working knowledge of the CRE Industry and CoStar’s business model
Influence API architecture and CI/CD pipeline improvements
Translate business requirements into technical requirements, develop project plans and work schedules for use by scrum development team
Work with the recruiting team to hire and onboard top industry talent
Adopt an owner-operator mindset and demonstrate full ownership of the product and technical platforms
Collaborate with Product Managers, Designers, and other Agile teams to develop a roadmap and deliver on large initiatives
Successfully implement software development projects to specification and within scheduled timelines
Continually evaluate emerging technologies to identify opportunities, trends, and best practices to strengthen CoStar’s technology platform and development practices
Lead an Agile software development team (approximately 5-7 people); Lead Scrum ceremonies; Deliver done-done features to customers at high velocity
Act as a player-coach, who can mentor & coach team members into highly productive team players
Act as the "Voice of the Customer" when participating in product readiness reviews

Cloud Development experience (AWS is preferred)
Excellent team building, negotiation and consensus building abilities
Experience with Docker and container orchestration
Experience with NoSQL databases such as DynamoDB, MongoDB or Elasticsearch
Bachelor’s Degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college
7+ years of relevant development experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills; Must be able to communicate at a level appropriate to the audience (direct reports, peers and senior management)
Demonstrated expert knowledge of Object Oriented Programming and design patterns
Experience with relational databases (MS SQL Server is preferred)
Experience leading technical teams, working through complex requirements and offering relevant, timely technical solutions
3+ years’ experience in modern web and database technologies
A track record of commitment to prior employers
Solid experience with the following technologies; C#, .NET Core, and SQL Server
2+ years of experience leading Agile Team(s)
3+ years’ experience building large distributed, API-driven systems
