  • Conduct Job Hazard Analysis and implement safety programs including lockout/tag out, crane, respirators, confined space, forklift, and PPE.
  • Prepare PowerPoint training presentations.
  • Assist with new employee safety orientation program and safety training for employees.
  • Investigate accidents to identify their causes and devise strategies for future prevention.
  • Assist with annual department goals.
  • Provide leadership and interface with all facility colleagues.
  • Plan and implement training programs for supervisors and employees to meet safety standards and enhance the company safety culture.
  • Inspect facilities through safety audits to detect existing or potential incident and health hazards, and determine corrective or preventive measures, ensuring their implementation.

  • Proficiency in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) practices.
  • Degree and/or OSHA certification.
  • Experience with safety programs, training, audits, and procedures.
  • Knowledge of hazardous waste management and reporting.
  • Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work well within a team.
  • Specific knowledge in Health and Safety regulations, both state and federal.
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience in a fast-paced environment.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
