The Senior Project Engineer will administer the field office to achieve project profitability and schedule goals, working full‑time on the Williams, AZ jobsite with required travel; specific location details will be discussed during the interview process.
The role involves a wide range of duties including attending and documenting project meetings, maintaining filing systems and document logs, updating drawings and specifications, distributing documents to subcontractors, assisting with CPM schedule preparation and updates, evaluating field problems, handling RFIs, managing submittals and expediting, verifying labor cost quantities, preparing extra work orders and change‑order packages, maintaining reference and photo logs, compiling contract close‑out documents, and documenting punch‑list work.
Candidates must have an engineering, construction‑management, or architectural degree (or equivalent certification), at least two years of project‑engineer experience, basic estimating and scheduling skills, the ability to read plans and specifications, strong written and verbal English communication, independent judgment, and a self‑starting attitude; drafting and computer skills are desirable, and field experience such as carpentry is a plus.
