Description

The Installation Manager in Montreal reports to the Director of Operations (Retail) and oversees daily installation activities, ensuring quality control, meeting capacity targets, and keeping the crews trained and engaged. The role involves supervising teams across all business lines, developing policies to improve efficiency, and collaborating with other location managers and the Customer Care team. It also includes managing budgets, controlling costs, and presenting insights to senior management.

• Lead, mentor, and develop installation crews across all business lines.
• Create and implement operational policies to boost efficiency.
• Coordinate daily preparation of materials and supplies for installers.
• Review daily reports to prioritize backlogs and service calls.
• Oversee receivables review and collection.
• Manage rechecks of completed jobs and update i360 accordingly.
• Monitor quality control and apply corrective actions as needed.
• Collaborate regularly with other location managers and the Customer Care team.
• Identify operational challenges and devise productivity solutions.
• Control the operational budget, manage costs, and allocate resources optimally.
• Work with operations and finance to ensure accurate reporting and forecasting.
• Present analytical insights and recommendations to senior management.

Requirements

This is a full‑time role that may require occasional travel. Candidates must possess a vehicle able to tow a half‑ton trailer.

• Minimum 3 + years of management experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and computer skills; quick learner of new software.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal and customer‑service abilities.
• Experience in construction and knowledge of industry regulations, best practices, and health‑safety standards (preferred).
• Familiarity with i360 (asset).

Benefits

The position offers a salary ranging from $85,000 to $120,000 depending on experience, with a benefits plan after a three‑month probation period, a gas card, vehicle allowance, and the requirement to have a vehicle capable of towing a half‑ton trailer.
