Reporting to the Corporate Maintenance Planning & Systems Manager, the planner will oversee maintenance planning for our Waterloo, IN and Rock Island, IL facilities. Responsibilities include creating corrective and preventive work orders, coordinating projects with internal teams and external vendors, and ensuring an up‑to‑date maintenance program across all shifts. The role requires close collaboration with production, planning, and the parts department to keep equipment operating efficiently.
The role involves physical demands such as transporting items up to 75 lb, moving throughout the facility and yard, climbing ladders, working on elevated platforms, and operating a computer for frequent communication with leaders, peers, and vendors. Reasonable accommodations are available to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Candidates must have experience in manufacturing maintenance planning, a valid driver’s license with a good record, and the ability to operate a forklift, man‑lift, and other industrial equipment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, D365, and preferably Microsoft AX, along with strong purchasing, vendor management, and electrical/mechanical knowledge, is required. Excellent planning, execution, communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure as part of a team are also essential.
The Maintenance Planner position offers a pay rate of $35.00‑$40.00 per hour, a Monday‑Friday schedule from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and is based in Waterloo, IN. This is a full‑time, hourly role with stable long‑term career potential.
