The role involves collaborating with engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients, interpreting codes and client requirements, and using established CAD standards and templates. The technician will also assist in coordinating project documentation, maintain drawing records, and may travel for site investigations and construction observations, preparing related reports and exhibits.
- Create detailed drawings based on specifications, requirements, and plans using CAD software.
- Collaborate and coordinate design with project team members including engineers, architects, designers, consultants, and clients.
- Prepare layouts, diagrams, sketches, and drawings for various projects.
- Review and modify existing drawings or models as requested by project managers.
- Interpret relevant codes and client requirements.
- Implement and utilize established CAD standards and templates.
- Assist in coordinating project documentation to ensure all technical requirements are met.
- Travel periodically to perform site investigations, measurements, and construction observation, and prepare subsequent reports and exhibits.
- Ensure drawings comply with industry standards, regulations, and project specifications.
- Maintain records of drawings, revisions, and related project documents.

Candidates should have at least one year of experience with Civil 3D, an associate’s degree or CAD certificate, and proficiency with MS Office. Experience on commercial, retail, restaurant, and industrial projects is a plus, and they must be adaptable, able to work independently or in a team, and possess strong oral, written, and organizational skills. Flexibility, detail‑orientation, reliability, and self‑motivation are also required.
- Minimum 1+ year experience using Civil 3D.
- Associate’s Degree or CAD Certificate.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with commercial, retail, restaurant, and industrial projects (preferred).
- Adaptable and receptive to instruction.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent oral, written, and organizational communication skills.
- Detail‑oriented, quality‑conscious, reliable, and self‑motivated.
