  • Represent the studio in the marketplace, enhancing visibility and reputation.
  • Ensure compliance with the Alberta Building Code and municipal planning requirements.
  • Foster a studio culture that values accountability, collaboration, and learning.
  • Mentor and empower the next generation of architects, ensuring knowledge, standards, and values are carried forward.
  • Manage consultant coordination and approvals to achieve timely, high-quality outcomes.
  • Collaborate with leadership to refine business strategy, improve processes, and support sustainable growth.
  • Oversee all phases of residential development projects, from schematic design through approvals and construction.
  • Develop and secure new opportunities, with a focus on building long-term relationships with developers and industry partners.
  • Provide senior-level guidance in design, project execution, and studio operations.
  • Provide guidance, training, and mentorship to junior and intermediate staff.
  • Expand the reach of the studio by cultivating new client relationships and strengthening existing ones.
  • Balance hands-on involvement with effective delegation and oversight.
  • Lead proposals, presentations, and client negotiations.
  • Contribute at the ownership level, with responsibility not just for delivering projects, but for helping drive growth, reputation, and long-term success.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams on complex residential projects.
