The Senior Manufacturing Quality Control Specialist position is based in Mount Pleasant, Pennsylvania, and reports to Hitachi Energy USA Inc. This full‑time role focuses on maintaining the highest quality standards in manufacturing processes.
In this senior capacity you will audit and monitor production lines to ensure compliance with internal and regulatory requirements, test random samples of finished goods, and report any process deviations or defects. You will work closely with the Quality Assurance team to troubleshoot issues, lead quality‑related projects, and drive continuous improvement across the plant.
The role also includes coaching junior professionals, reviewing their work, and mentoring them on best practices. Complex problems are analyzed and solved using Six Sigma, ISO and other quality tools to sustain adherence to standards.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality management or a related discipline and possess at least five years of manufacturing quality control experience. A strong background in auditing, regulatory compliance, project management and analytical problem‑solving is required.
