We are seeking a Shift Engineer for our Property and Asset Management business in Pune Manjari. The role involves ensuring all technical services remain operational during shift duties, leading the engineering team, and coordinating technical issues with the Property Manager, Assistant Property Manager and occupants.
- Manage and maintain electromechanical and utility services with the technician team.
- Develop and execute planned preventive maintenance (PPM) programs.
- Perform regular site inspections to identify risks and defects.
- Review and guide the work of subordinate staff.
- Track assets under defect liability and AMC/CAMC in a centralized system.
- Recruit, train and develop shift engineers and maintenance personnel.
- Control budgets and monitor SLA/KPI performance for JLL and external vendors.
- Ensure service level agreements are met and performance scores remain excellent.
- Renew agreements, submit invoices and follow up on payments promptly.
- Oversee vendor quotations, obtain proper sign‑offs and manage cost‑sheet submissions.
- Conduct monthly vendor meetings to address issues and enforce corrective actions.
- Implement energy‑conservation initiatives and prepare monthly consumption reports.
- Maintain equipment history cards and ensure logbooks are up‑to‑date.
- Address major complaints, escalate when needed and coordinate technical response.
- Verify work permits and enforce safe work practices and procedures.
- Assist in risk assessments, mitigation planning and root‑cause analysis of failures.
- Create corrective, preventive and emergency response action plans.
- Participate in evacuation drills and serve on the Emergency Response Team (ERT/QRT).
- Prepare and maintain engineering reports such as DMR and MMR.

Ideal candidates are analytical, meticulous and enjoy coordinating with multiple teams. Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot and monitor maintenance projects are essential.
Candidates should hold a degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical engineering (or equivalent) and have 5–7 years of experience in real estate, hotel or construction environments, with residential site experience being a plus. The role is based on‑site in Pune, Maharashtra.
