Senior Landscape Engineer

Description

The Senior Landscape Engineer is responsible for supervising and monitoring all landscape construction works to ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, environmental regulations, and local authority standards. The role includes design and shop drawing reviews, material approvals, and quality control oversight to maintain alignment with project objectives and sustainability requirements.

• Verify the implementation of approved construction methods and ensure adherence to quality control procedures.
• Supervise and inspect landscape works including planting, irrigation systems, soil improvement, and hardscape installations.
• Review and provide comments on landscape design drawings, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Oversee and monitor material inspections, testing, and mock-up reviews related to landscape components.
• Coordinate with contractors to resolve technical or site-related issues and provide corrective recommendations.
• Ensure sustainability and protection of existing trees, vegetation, and environmental assets.
• Review and respond to contractor correspondences, RFIs, and technical submittals.
• Ensure all works comply with project specifications, environmental regulations, and municipal standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, planting techniques, and sustainable landscaping practices.
• Excellent coordination, reporting, and communication skills.
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian municipal and environmental regulations.
• Proven experience in design review, shop drawing assessment, and material approvals.
