Develop and review station design packages including:
Ensure compliance with standards, CSA C22 series, and ANSI/NETA ATS.
Provide drafting support in AutoCAD or MicroStation when required.
Act as the technical authority for station design within the team.
Ensure you and your family receive the services needed to support your mental, emotional, and physical well-being.
Mentor and guide junior designers and engineers.
Serve as the primary technical liaison with the client and internal teams.
Participate in design reviews and technical meetings.
Ensure as-built documentation and record updates are completed.
Assist with relay programming, RTU configuration, and system integration.
Prepare construction work packages, work instructions, and step plans.
Translate technical requirements into actionable plans for non-technical stakeholders.

P.Eng. designation or eligibility in Ontario.
Relay upgrade designs (e.g., SEL-587Z, SEL-2440) and RTU integration.
Knowledge of protection relays, SCADA/RTU systems, and fiber communication.
Strong organizational and project management skills.
5+ years in substation or station design, including P&C and RTU systems.
Familiarity with SAP or utility asset management systems.
Strong understanding of high-voltage equipment and relay coordination.
Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting tools.
Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Experience with relay programming and commissioning.
