Estimator/Drafter New Homes

Description

• Prepare job specific plans, estimates, costs of homes, pre-construction tasks from the sale of our Buyer’s new home through the start of construction.
• Prepare purchase orders for vendors and trade partners, variance purchase orders as required, and late change orders requested by the Buyer’s
• Accurately estimate and maintain the cost of homes, CAD drawings to define our homes, and establish budgets for all of our home and option pricing.
• Perform quality assurance inspections to help maintain a high level of quality.

Requirements

• Proficient in AutoCAD. Experience in design and maintenance of residential plans and details.
• Work well under time constraints
• Clear when communicating with others (written and verbal)
• Proficient in residential building
• High level of computer/software proficiency
• Must have work experience in residential construction.
• Prefer Bachelor's, Associates, or Technical degree in Architecture or Construction.
• Able to connect and build valuable relationships
• Experience in residential estimating and take-off methods.
• An ideal team member will possess the following essential personal skills: excellent time and project management, highly organized, problem-solving abilities, work with a sense of urgency, detail oriented and the ability to adapt to change.
• You should have a good understanding of residential construction and how it relates to drafting and estimating.
