Provide senior leadership support to Tetra Tech’s overall natural resource, permitting, and planning practice with a focus on cultural resource program development across the Southwest U.S. Leadership support includes regional cultural resource program oversight, business strategy development, client engagement, opportunity identification and pursuit, and team member education and mentoring.
Other activities will include proposal preparation and project implementation.
Manage projects and mentor junior team members to meet project scope, schedule and budget objectives. Where scope modifications require client approvals, promptly and clearly present client with scope modification justifications and impact on project budget and schedule to receive approvals.
Work will be primarily performed in an office setting with periodic travel by vehicle or airplane to business meetings. Occasional field work may be required for oversight
Maintains a cultural resource Principal Investigator status with most federal and state agencies requiring specific permit qualifications in the Southwest U.S., particularly in Arizona.
Work with operational leadership to define your key technical practice areas, supporting team composition and size, and revenue growth goals.
Engage and retain relationships with commercial industrial, financial, law and energy firms, and state, federal, and local government to facilitate opportunity generation.
Capitalize on industry relationships/expertise/professional network to maintain and establish new relationships and ensure they are managed for growth.
Actively participate with local and regional project teams to develop strategic client and opportunity capture plans and successfully implement those plans.
Provide services that result in clients’ desire to continue and grow their business relationships with Tetra Tech.
Rapidly integrate yourself into Tetra Tech to understand and leverage Tetra Tech’s diverse resources and service offerings in your associated practice area.
Work with Tetra Tech’s related resource team members both in your home operating unit and as opportunities arise, with adjoining operating units including those with different practices in the value chain (i.e. engineering design, data management) to perform analysis of account potential, market share, and remaining winnable opportunities.
