The Direct Sales Consultant role focuses on identifying sales leads and delivering in‑home presentations of Sunrun’s solar products and services. Consultants aim to form genuine human connections, qualify prospects, and determine if solar is a viable solution for each household.
Key responsibilities include developing self‑generated sales strategies, providing an industry‑leading customer experience from first contact to system activation, conducting in‑home sales presentations, managing the prospect‑to‑install pipeline, accurately reporting outcomes in the CRM, and meeting set sales targets.
Successful candidates will have at least one year of sales or lead‑generation experience, be 21 years of age or older, hold a valid driver’s license with a clean record, possess strong communication and teamwork skills, be willing to travel within their local market, and be comfortable using technology such as iPads, computers, and CRM software.
