  • Implement Walkdown planning and 2-week lookaheads. Measure performance of planned vs actual
  • To build your career by assisting in the delivery of ‘leading edge’ engineering projects.
  • Conducting project lesson learned workshops with supply chain and project team to prevent recurrence of issues.
  • Continuously monitor the effectiveness of the quality program and support improvement as required.
  • To work with a vibrant, agile and multi-functional team in delivering projects on time, safely, to budget and to the required quality standards.
  • Monitor KPI (Key Performance Indicators) on planned vs actual, checklist completion, issues / snags, room readiness and system/area handover.
  • Implement a First of Kind / Benchmark program and monitor installations & progress of completion. Ensure Benchmarks / First of kinds are visible to all project personnel.
  • Lead by example in the areas of ethics, EHS, cultural sensitivity, diversity, teamwork, quality culture and behaviors.
  • Provide support and guidance with implementation of the Quality & LEAN Construction Policy
  • Complete incremental Internal Audits to verify implementation of the QMS and the Quality Plan.
  • Provide technical and professional guidance for teams
  • Establish close working relationships with cross functional departments (Planning, Engineering, Operations, Commissioning, EHS, etc.) including supply chain and client stakeholders.
  • Develop project quality program and provide training to site team for implementation
  • Develop & maintain Project Quality plans and Inspection and Test plans to ensure project compliance. Continuously monitor the effectiveness of the quality program and update as required
  • Be proactive in identifying areas of improvement and create suitable action plans to improve project performance (Snags, Checklists, Supply chain, Trends, Risk, etc.)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Knowledge to scope, plan and execute risk review

  • Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent Electrical trade qualification
  • Able to create and implement quality control process and procedures
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational / planning skills
  • 5 years Quality management experience in an Engineering & Construction Environment
  • Ability to lead root cause analysis techniques and implement corrective actions
  • Knowledge of relevant industry standards applicable to the contract scope of works
  • ISO9001 auditor certification and experience.
