Description
Develop fire strategy designs utilising a mixture of code compliance and performance-based approaches within a wide range of sectors such as residential, commercial, heritage, sports grounds, healthcare, etc.
Develop soft skills such as project management and liaising with clients and other specialists.
Produce technical reports outlining assumptions and bases of design, methodologies, and recommendations.
In time, support Ashton Fire in undertaking research projects and publishing technical articles, including conference and journal papers.
Attend and make a positive contribution to meetings, both internally and externally, and help us to continually improve Ashton Fire and the wider fire safety industry.
Work closely with colleagues across all offices and support fire engineers at all levels on projects.
Complete the graduate training scheme with support from your mentor.
Attend site visits (if required), whilst being accompanied and supported by an experienced engineer.
Continually advance your knowledge and skills in the application of fire engineering principles and relevant legislation through continual professional development, with an aim to achieve associate member status with the Institution of Fire Engineers.
