- Continuously develop understanding of expert witness procedures and methodologies
- Support senior staff in client communications and presentations
- Support the review and interpretation of different construction contract suites (JCT, NEC, FIDIC) as they relate to claims
- Assist in assessing the impact of changes on construction projects
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in documentation under guidance
- Support project administration and file management
- Assist in organizing and analysing construction records and project documentation
- Support the preparation of supporting materials and exhibits for expert reports
- Liaise effectively with project team members and contribute to team discussions
- Assist in understanding and applying Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) procedures relevant to expert witness work
- Ensure work output meets quality standards under supervision
- Maintain accurate time recording and project documentation
- Conduct initial analysis and review of construction project records and documentation
- Contribute to the analysis of various types of construction claims under guidance
- Draft sections of claim reports and expert witness reports under senior supervision
- Assessing change on construction projects
- Support senior staff in evaluating claims related to loss, disruption, and prolongation
- Assist in meeting project deadlines and deliverable schedules
- Liaise and confidently communicate with other members of the project or client team
- Assist in running small-scale projects or specific components of larger projects under senior supervision
- Participate in knowledge sharing within the team
- Participate in internal project meetings and briefings
- Actively seek guidance and feedback from senior team members
