
Produce and update coordinated shop drawings, schematics, and layouts from BIM models based on approved designs and specifications.
Support site and design teams by providing technical clarification and updating models as required by site conditions or client changes.
Guide and mentor junior draughtsmen to maintain accuracy and consistency across all deliverables.
Coordinate with mechanical, plumbing, and architectural disciplines to identify and resolve clashes through BIM coordination.
Participate in BIM coordination meetings, clash detection reviews, and design validation sessions.
Develop and maintain detailed 3D BIM models for all electrical systems, including lighting, power, ELV, fire alarm, and containment systems using Revit MEP and related BIM tools.
Maintain proper BIM documentation, version control, and file management in line with company procedures.
To lead the development and coordination of detailed BIM models and shop drawings for electrical systems, ensuring compliance with project specifications, authority standards, and company BIM procedures. The Senior BIM Draughtsman (Electrical) ensures the accuracy and constructability of electrical designs throughout all project stages and supports coordination between other MEP and structural disciplines.
Prepare and update as-built drawings and models as required at project close-out.
Ensure the timely delivery of all BIM outputs, drawings, and deliverables according to project schedules.
Ensure all models and drawings comply with UAE authority requirements (DEWA, ADDC, DCD, DM, etc.) and project standards.
Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills.
Proven experience in MEP coordination and multi-disciplinary BIM modeling.
Minimum 7–10 years of experience in electrical drafting, including 3–5 years in Revit MEP/BIM within UAE or GCC projects.
Strong knowledge of UAE authority regulations and electrical installation standards.
Solid understanding of electrical systems design, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, and ELV systems.
Advanced proficiency in Autodesk Revit MEP, AutoCAD, and Navisworks.
Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or AutoCAD/BIM Design.
