Developing knowledge of topographic and cross-section surveys to support planning, design, materials and cost projections for the project site.
Provide topographic and cross-section surveys as required for planning and payment quantities.
Provide work control lines and elevations that are required for accurate measurement and correct installation of materials by field staff.
Assist with conducting quantity calculations as required .
Assist in the evaluation of potential dimensions and other field problems.
Provide checking of as-built conditions that require the use of surveying techniques.

Proven leadership skills.
3+ years’ experience in survey and land mapping required.
High School Diploma / GED required.
Technical skill with survey instruments
Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related preferred.
License Surveyor In Training (LSIT) Certification
Valid Driver’s License
Strong communication skills, proven with engineering teams and management on project sites.
Perform layout work competently and accurately as specified by survey manager.
Ability to train and direct staff on a project site.
