Coordinate with key stakeholders, including regulatory agencies, contractors, and project owners, to ensure that the design meets all requirements and expectations.
Lead and manage a team of design professionals, guiding them through the design process, ensuring clear communication, and providing mentorship and direction throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement best practices for design management, driving process improvements and efficiencies where applicable.
Identify potential design issues or challenges early in the project, and work with the team to proactively resolve them to prevent delays or cost overruns.
Ensure that all designs maintain a high standard of quality, safety, and innovation, fostering a culture of excellence across the design team.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is required.
Design management experience within the aviation industry or on aviation improvement projects is preferred.
Strong understanding of design processes, from initial concept through to construction.
Proven experience managing the design of large, complex building projects, utilities, and infrastructure improvements is essential.
Experience managing multi-disciplinary design teams, including architects, engineers, and other technical professionals, is highly preferred.
Professionally licensed Architect and/or Engineer is strongly preferred.
In-depth knowledge of local, state, and federal regulations affecting airport design and construction projects.
