Perform workplace audits and inspections to closure.
Assist with executing the LRE safety strategy and zero accident culture on assigned project(s).
Monitor monthly safety training for completion.
Monitoring daily construction activities for compliance with OSHA and LRE rules/policies.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to position objects and operate tools or controls.
Assist in incident investigations and notifications as needed.
Frequently required to use personal protective equipment to maintain safety and prevent exposure to harmful materials.
Assist in the execution of the jobsite safety plans.
Employee is occasionally required to ascend and/or descend a ladder or stairs to reach work areas.
Employee views computer monitor regularly.
Provide Safety Leadership creating enthusiasm and participation among management and craft workers, resulting in excellent safety performance.
Review and provide job safety analysis feedback.
Work directly with the Site Manager and the management team to develop and implement and maintain an effective site-specific safety program.
Monitor and provide training to project personnel on Concern Reports and Safety Observations.
Input and review incident reports.
Take ownership of your own and others’ health and safety and of those who may be affected by the day-to-day delivery of this role by taking personal responsibility for working toward LRE’s Zero Injury principles.
Communicate between LRE and client management regarding safety matters.
Implement the project’s LRE program.
The employee regularly is required to remain in a stationary position and move to access people or machinery or workspaces.

The employee is regularly required to travel (as vehicle driver and as passenger on various modes of transportation) and frequently performs work on-site at construction work sites.
The employee is required to be able to effectively communicate while on the job site and throughout the completion of duties.
Occupational Safety bachelor's degree or related from an accredited institution. Preferred.
The employee shall have the ability to climb wind turbines and provide a tower EHS presence.
The working conditions of this position requires the employee to work both inside and outside in heat/cold, wet/humid, and dry/arid conditions.
Holds a current CHST certification. Required
Minimum of ten (10) years of EHS experience in construction.
Candidate must also be proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
The employee must regularly move up to 20 pounds and occasionally move up to 50 pounds.
CSP certification. Preferred.
Minimum of five (5) years of EHS experience in renewable energy (i.e., solar, battery, wind, etc.).
Specific abilities required by this job include close vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Will be required to work overtime and weekends as project needs warrant.
Possess excellent people skills, with demonstrated ability to effectively interact with employees at all levels in a construction environment.
