The Sr. Shipping & Receiving Coordinator manages the complete process of incoming and outgoing packages at JLL facilities. Responsibilities include receiving, inspecting, and documenting deliveries, packaging and preparing outbound shipments, maintaining accurate inventory records, coordinating with carriers, and keeping warehouse areas organized and clean. The role demands strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
Typical daily tasks involve unloading shipments, verifying contents against purchase orders, systematically updating inventory records, securely packing items and creating shipping labels, and maintaining records of all goods. The coordinator also conducts regular inventory counts, ensures receiving and shipping areas remain clean, safe, and organized, and completes required paperwork including tracking and delivery information.
Physical demands include the ability to lift 35+ pounds regularly, extended periods of standing, walking, and physical activity in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
Required qualifications are a high school diploma or equivalent, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and communication skills, and technical proficiency with computers, office equipment, and warehouse management software. Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift for extended periods is also required.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations, familiarity with inventory management systems, and experience with various shipping carriers and their platforms. This position does not provide visa sponsorship; candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
