Adhere to company and client quality control processes in developing deliverables
Utilize PLS-CADD to review existing models and occasionally perform preliminary design work or coordinate with other engineers and designers to have work performed
Attend regular client meetings to present and update on the status of project scope and budget development
Develop take-off quantities of major material based on the developed scope
Develop solutions that adhere to client specifications and design standards
Assists in designing transmission line components for project needs and requirements that are set forth by the project managers or to assist in the development of the scope
Develop deliverables for stakeholder review and approval
Develop high level scope of work based on sponsor requests and results of research performed and information received from stakeholders
Input project information into clients estimating software (Sage experience preferred)
Identify additional support estimates required to be completed by others and coordinate accordingly
Develop high level project schedules following client templates
Document assumptions and points of clarification related to project scope, schedule and budget
Assists in the transmission line design of projects from the conceptual phase
Review details provided by project sponsor and research existing information and details to determine if any items need to be clarified with other stakeholders

Engineers in Training-EIT Certification preferred.
Basic knowledge of transmission, substation, or distribution design experience preferred.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Proficient computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office Suite).
Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or related field and a minimum of 3 years of transmission line design, construction or estimating experience. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
Applies basic knowledge of commonly used civil and structural engineering/design concepts, principles, practices, codes, and procedures within the civil/structural engineering services industry
Ability to work independently or in groups, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions.
Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Basic computer skills (e.g. AutoCAD, MicroStation, Sage, Google Earth, PLS-CADD), and civil/structural analysis programs.
Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem solving skills.
Basic knowledge in standard civil/structural engineering techniques, principles and procedures.
