We are seeking a new Strategic Commercial Manager to join the team. The role is responsible for developing and implementing a range of activities to support the commercial function across VIDA Rail. A key focus of the role will be to identify opportunities to ensure consistent and streamlined commercial activities across VIDA Rail.
- Develop and implement commercial and contract management processes and procedures across VIDA Rail construction projects.
- Assist with driving a consistent and streamlined approach for all commercial management and contract administration of VIDA Rail construction agreements.
- Oversee the preparation, implementation and maintenance of procurement and contract administration documentation, systems and plans for a program of works during all phases of projects.
- Provide commercial and contractual advice to the VIDA Rail project teams on procurement strategies, commercial frameworks, approvals requirements and controls.

Applicants must be an Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or hold a valid work permit or visa to be eligible to apply.
- Experience in alliance contracting is preferred
- Provide a summary of your relevant commercial experience in major transport infrastructure projects. (Max 200 words).
- A degree in law, commerce, economics, business, management, accounting, or a related field is preferred.
- Demonstrated understanding and extensive experience in managing commercial and contractual issues during all stages of the project life cycle.
- Demonstrated experience in preparing and managing complex major contracts, and other significant procurements, preferably for infrastructure or construction projects.
- Demonstrated ability to develop complex procurement documentation and written briefs to senior executives, government or boards.

This is a 3-year fixed term position, paying a salary between $138,631 - $185,518 plus superannuation with hybrid working arrangement (a mix of office and home/remote based working).
