Work Planner

Description

• Collects and reports data required by Line Clearing contractors.
• Inspects rights-of-way (ROW) and easements for trim, removal, and chemical treatment requirements.
• Drive a company vehicle safely to work locations for the organization.
• Notifies and communicates with customers as required.
• Marks vegetation as required.
• Ongoing training and assistance with obtaining industry certifications.
• Conducts safety audits.

Requirements

• Computer and communication skills.
• ISA or equivalent certification preferred, but not required.
• All job offers are subject to pre-employment drug screening and a background check.
• Species and hazard tree identification skills, invasive species, and tree growth knowledge.
• Travel requirements for these positions may vary based on the specific work location and project needs. Candidates should be prepared for occasional travel, both day and overnight, as necessary.
• Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
• Knowledge of industry standards.
• Minimum thirty (30) semester credits or forty-five (45) quarter credits towards a degree from an accredited college /university OR 2-3 years of UVM experience without degree.
