You will lead, direct, plan and coordinate the activities of field staff and subcontractors, ensuring targets are met or exceeded. Building and maintaining effective relationships with customers, subcontractors and suppliers is essential, as is motivating the team to achieve high job satisfaction. You will provide subject‑matter expertise to ensure compliance with laws, regulations, work practices and contracts, produce briefings at toolbox and site meetings, and maintain accurate reporting systems. Additionally, you will manage assets such as tools, mobile phones, vehicles and safety equipment, conduct onboarding and ongoing development for subcontractors, and review procedures for statutory and customer compliance.
The position is based in Eastern Creek, NSW, and Service Stream’s M7 team is seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor. In this role you will work closely with inspectors, field personnel, the HSE team, operations manager, clients and the scheduling team to ensure all electrical inspection activities meet legislative, regulatory and contractual requirements. The role includes managing field personnel, providing inductions, mentoring, training, conducting field audits and driving performance standards, as well as partnering with internal teams and clients to deliver safe, high‑quality outcomes. A company vehicle is provided and the role offers a supportive, professional environment for a skilled electrical leader.
The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, a genuine passion for staff development and excellent interpersonal skills to positively influence customers, contractors and staff. You must have the capacity to manage schedules, resolve operational issues and solve technical problems independently, as well as manage budgets and negotiate field issues diplomatically. Required qualifications include a Construction White Card, an electrical work licence and a current driver’s licence, together with relevant industry knowledge and experience.
