The Global Real Estate Pan‑India Fire & Life Safety Manager – Service Provider reports to the Service Providers India Account Lead and supports the APAC Regional FLS Manager. The role is accountable for refining fire and life‑safety policies, ensuring regulatory compliance, and overseeing program management, inspection reporting, incident investigations, and website administration across the Pan‑India portfolio.
Key duties involve leading India FLS City Managers, driving compliance with internal and local regulations, reducing false alarms, managing the AED program, and supervising FLS representatives. The manager also ensures accurate incident capture, updates SOPs, provides training to facilities teams, coordinates project handovers, oversees emergency drills, conducts regular inspections, and prepares monthly progress reports and governance meetings.
- Lead and oversee India FLS City Managers for fire and life safety across all sites, ensuring compliance with internal and regulatory requirements.
- Capture FLS issues promptly and ensure remedial actions are completed.
- Collaborate with Control teams to maintain FLS compliance.
- Drive reduction in false alarms by monitoring trends and implementing control measures.
- Implement the FLS program and company initiatives across the Pan‑India portfolio.
- Lead and manage the AED program, deploying and maintaining AEDs across the portfolio.
- Monitor and evaluate FLS Representative performance throughout the Pan‑India portfolio.
- Conduct annual oversight reviews of Site Specific Safety Plans, FLS surveys and checklists.
- Ensure FLS incidents are captured, investigated, and corrective actions are applied for continuous improvement.
- Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date Go/FLS website content.
- Review and update standard operating procedures for facilities management and emergency response.
- Provide training, guidance and oversight to FM teams on SOPs, the FLS program and global initiatives.
- Work with project teams on FLS infrastructure/equipment and perform handover inspections for compliance.
- Oversee emergency drills and ensure post‑drill review reports capture observations and improvements.
- Perform regular FLS inspections across Pan‑India locations and ensure timely corrective actions.
- Prepare monthly FLS progress reports and propose actions for continuous improvement.
- Host monthly FLS governance meetings with FM City leads and FLS City leads to drive program implementation.
- Review recruitment of Fire Wardens and First Aiders to meet regulatory and global requirements.
- Promote FLS culture and drive engagement through Office Hours sessions and recruitment campaigns.

- Knowledge of regulatory codes for fire protection, building occupancy, emergency procedures, investigations, drills and training.
- Expertise in corporate standards, policies and procedures for F&LS compliance.
- Ability to work independently, high attention to detail, and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Willingness to travel as required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Access, Web and SharePoint.
- Experience developing process documentation and internal control procedures.
- Familiarity with fire and life safety systems and emergency response procedures.
- Experience with building construction projects related to fire and life safety measures.
- Knowledge of Pan‑India fire and life safety regulations and standards.
