Overview
Perform preventive and reactive maintenance while ensuring safety and compliance

Tasks
-Oversee contractors during out-of-hours work to ensure compliance with work instructions, safe systems of work, risk assessments, and permit requirements -Manage engineering stores by maintaining safety-critical stock, ensuring proper booking procedures, and coordinating with colleagues to minimize outage time -Complete planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and deliver safety-critical maintenance tasks within specified timeframes -Ensure compliance with all Health & Safety policies, procedures, and regulations while reporting safety and performance issues -Liaise with internal and external customers, facility managers, operational staff, and contractors to deliver maintenance operations and ensure value for money -Ensure environmental compliance by completing maintenance works according to sustainability commitments, preventing releases to air, land, or water, and monitoring critical spares inventory -Manage maintenance work order processes including raising defects, planning, scheduling, and recording reactive, proactive, and conditional-based maintenance -Actively participate in safety reporting, continuous improvement initiatives, and maintenance planning meetings to align with customer needs and build TPM structure

What You Bring
-Specialised safety training including Confined Space, Excavation, and Asbestos awareness certifications -C&G Level 3 qualification as a Time-Served Engineer with practical experience and sound technical knowledge -Knowledge of Health and Safety legislation and processes, with IOSH Managing Safely qualification preferred -Ability to work effectively in a multi-project environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously -Previous experience in a similar industry or role, demonstrating relevant sector understanding -Experience using CAD software to plan, manage, and execute maintenance tasks efficiently -Technical proficiency including knowledge of inverters, PLC literacy, and PC literacy for operational tasks -Knowledge of Building Management Systems (BMS) for facility operations and control
