Safety and Compliance Professional

Description

• Maintain and update contractor management platforms.
• Multi-discipline engineering services plus corrosion control, commissioning and project/construction management
• Create and maintain a variety of both internal and external documentation and communication including PowerPoint presentations, professional correspondence, database management, Excel spreadsheets, etc.
• Participate in the review and update of the company’s safety manual.
• Review client contracts to ensure alignment with company safety policies and safety standards.
• Coordinate with office safety representatives and technology client program managers to confirm that each office location adheres to established protocols regarding PPE, Job Safety Analysis (JSA) procedures, evacuation plans, first aid kits, AEDs, and vehicle maintenance tracking for offices with vehicles.
• Assign, track, and maintain safety related training/testing records for employees.
• Provide administrative support for the company’s safety program.

Requirements

• Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office suite to include Word document formatting, Excel spreadsheet manipulation, and PowerPoint creation.
• Familiarity with contractor management platforms (e.g. ISNetworld, Veriforce, Avetta) strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years experience supporting safety programs and/or contract compliance preferred.
• 45 years in business
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Construction Management, Safety Management, or related field preferred but not required. We will consider related Associate’s degrees, certifications or additional years of experience in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
