PHE & FF- BIM Modeler

Description

In this role, the engineer will be responsible for creating and managing BIM models of building services, ensuring they are accurately integrated within the overall design and meet all regulatory requirements. The position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, producing detailed documentation and supporting continuous improvement of BIM practices.

• Develop 3D BIM models for plumbing, heating, electrical, and fire‑fighting systems using Revit or AutoCAD MEP.
• Collaborate with project teams to integrate PHE and FF systems into overall building models.
• Create and maintain content libraries for PHE and FF components.
• Perform clash detection and coordinate with other disciplines to resolve model conflicts.
• Generate quantity take‑offs and material schedules from BIM models.
• Produce 2D drawings and documentation derived from 3D models.
• Ensure models comply with building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Participate in project meetings and coordinate with clients, architects, and engineers.
• Assist in developing and maintaining BIM standards and best practices.
• Support creation of construction and fabrication drawings based on BIM models.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of BIM processes and workflows.
• Stay current with BIM technologies and industry trends for PHE and FF systems.

Requirements
