Participate in forensic analysis of existing buildings, and develop the in house protocols for testing of in-service materials.

Window testing both in the laboratory and in the field;
Advise architects and clients on building enclosure performance, constructability, and durability.
Forensic analysis of component system failures and water infiltration of building envelope
Document and maintain well written reports on project related activity.
Moisture testing of field samples; and
Attend meetings with building owners, contractors, developers and architects carries out both field and laboratory testing
Work with the principal of the firm in the development of the field analysis practices and join in the training of field staff to enhance their skills in ASTM E2128 and ASTM E 2018 field evaluations.

Consult on existing facade design for enhancement or maintenance type projects: forensic review and analysis, Bid Document and repair detail preparation, direct Bidding Phase, and Construction Administration. Well versed in exterior wall construction.
Review calculations relating to new and existing buildings for Windloading (ASCE 7); load calculations and attachment requirements. Building drainage calculcations. Work with the design staff in the development of detailing to support calculated design loads.
