The position involves inspecting and operating specialized logistics equipment, such as reach trucks, order pickers, and turret trucks. You will use source documents to verify part numbers, locations, and quantities, and conduct first‑line quality assessments for damage and defects. Counting parts and filling orders are also key responsibilities.
Employees are expected to adhere to safety policies, wear required PPE, and perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 35 lb individually or 70 lb as a team, bending, reaching, squatting, and working at heights. The work environment may involve fluctuating temperatures and frequent interaction with carrier drivers and automated equipment.
Basic qualifications include prior work or volunteer experience, basic computer skills, and the ability to work at heights up to 30 feet. Preferred candidates have experience operating specialized logistics equipment, working in distribution centers or warehouses, and following standard work instructions.
