Dispatch (assign) orders as they are released, taking into consideration delivery dates and locations. Maintain the sequence of picking according to the priority rating and zoning of the orders
Trace shipments by phone or internet
Dispatch the orders and transfers according to the service and quality standards of IPEX
Process Bill of Ladings (BOLs) correctly and efficiently. Ensure that the information on said BOLs is accurate and complete
Handle and prioritize rush shipments and customer pick-ups
Handle calls regarding orders and customer inquiries. Manage desk for drivers and customer pick-ups
Maintain an orderly file system for documents and records (Bill of Lading, Sales Orders, RMAs, etc) as per C-TPAT
Using the rating/transport systems in place (TMS), choose the best possible carriers for each order

Must complete certification/training for Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), WHMIS and C-TPAT
Must have good writing skills and be fluent in English

Forklift Driver Training Certificate is an asset
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Completion of a college degree and/or experience in similar type of environment
Knowledge of Microsoft Office ie: Word, Excel and Outlook
