Description

• Dispatch (assign) orders as they are released, taking into consideration delivery dates and locations. Maintain the sequence of picking according to the priority rating and zoning of the orders
• Trace shipments by phone or internet
• Dispatch the orders and transfers according to the service and quality standards of IPEX
• Process Bill of Ladings (BOLs) correctly and efficiently. Ensure that the information on said BOLs is accurate and complete
• Handle and prioritize rush shipments and customer pick-ups
• Handle calls regarding orders and customer inquiries. Manage desk for drivers and customer pick-ups
• Maintain an orderly file system for documents and records (Bill of Lading, Sales Orders, RMAs, etc) as per C-TPAT
• Using the rating/transport systems in place (TMS), choose the best possible carriers for each order

Requirements

• Must be able to pass a Criminal Background Check
• Must complete certification/training for Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG), WHMIS and C-TPAT
• Must have good writing skills and be fluent in English
• Must be able to handle stress and adapt to workload changes and requests, ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Forklift Driver Training Certificate is an asset
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Completion of a college degree and/or experience in similar type of environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office ie: Word, Excel and Outlook
