Position includes design and analysis of rural and urban conveyance systems including water transmission and distribution systems, wastewater collection systems and land drainage conveyance system.
Uses computer software as a tool for solving basic engineering problems.
Prepare daily and weekly inspection reports
Collects and analyzes data under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Performs work in accordance with agreed-upon budget and schedule under supervision.
Conduct field measurements to establish quantities
Review of project drawings and specifications
Creates designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, and final working drawings under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Conducts engineering design under the supervision of an experienced engineer.
Observe, inspect and record work on-site to ensure compliance with specifications

Experience in hydraulic modelling software, such as InfoWorks ICM. WaterCAD and other platforms would be an asset.

Experience in AutoCAD.
Candidate must have completed Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or similar major, or have demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Experience in MS Office 365.
