The ideal candidate will also have several years of experience overseeing, managing and scheduling a team of engineers/designers on various civil engineering projects such as water, sewer, roadways and drainage.

The Civil Engineering Department Manager (Service Center Manager) provides both strategic and operational support to service center managers throughout the organization. We are looking for someone with an entrepreneurial drive to work with our team in Nevada.

  • A bachelor’s (B.S.) degree in civil engineering coupled with a valid Nevada P.E. License
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, contracts, and documentation
  • Strong and effective communication skills, conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
  • Problem solving and conflict resolution skills with effective communication
  • Proven strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with teams and clients.
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, or similar)
  • Highly organized individual who relates well with clients while collaborating well with other departments
  • 10+ plus years of relevant experience in Civil Engineering projects including water, sewer, grading/drainage, transportation and land development elements.
  • Able to oversee a variety of project types for both public and private clients
  • Proven experience as a Construction Administrator (Resident Engineer) or in a similar administrative role in the construction engineering industry
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, or related field
  • Strong Business Development Skills
