Pursuit & Proposal Specialist

Description

The Pursuit & Proposal Specialist will join the US Mobility ‘Winning Pursuits’ team, partnering with client teams to drive capture planning, strategy, and pursuit activities, especially in the Georgia market. This role goes beyond typical proposal writing, covering the full pursuit process from positioning and capture planning to post‑proposal debriefing, and offers hybrid work flexibility.

• Lead pursuit and capture planning, develop and track action items, and implement win strategies to increase proposal success.
• Participate in client account planning and regional strategy development.
• Conduct market research and analysis on opportunities, clients, projects, and competitors.
• Serve as Lead Proposal Manager, overseeing the full proposal lifecycle and ensuring RFP compliance.
• Write and tailor proposal content, interview experts, edit contributions, and deliver competitive responses.
• Support interview preparation and attend pre‑proposal and debrief meetings to share lessons learned.
• Manage proactive pipeline in Oracle Sales Cloud and coordinate regional project and staff resume data.
• Collaborate with Marketing/Communications on campaigns, award submissions, client events, white papers, and public relations.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years A/E/C industry experience in marketing, pursuit, proposal, or business development.
• Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing, technical writing, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience developing and writing proposals with deep knowledge of RFP processes.
• Experience in capture planning and strategy development in the A/E/C industry (preferred).
• Strong persuasive writing skills to articulate features, advantages, and benefits.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; familiarity with Adobe InDesign and Office365 suite preferred.
• Preferred certifications: CPSM or APMP (not required).

Benefits
