- Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
- Participate in engineering design and analysis as coursework permits.
- Perform small tasks in AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Use finite element analysis software (RAM, ETABS, SAP2000), hand calculations, and current codes under a Professional Engineer’s supervision.
- Visit construction sites to learn how structures are built and inspected.
- Review shop drawings for conformance to structural design drawings and specifications.

- Enrolled in an ABET‑accredited undergraduate or graduate program majoring in Civil, Structural, or Architectural Engineering with a structural emphasis.
- Completed approximately three years toward the degree with a 3.0+ GPA.
- Demonstrated knowledge of relevant software packages.
- Ability to work in‑person at the Folsom or Walnut Creek office.
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate engineering program.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent problem‑solving and communication skills.
- Basic Microsoft Office proficiency.
