The engineer is responsible for creating innovative structural designs, performing calculations, and preparing plans and specifications that meet client requirements and industry standards. Collaboration with cross‑functional teams, construction administration support, and communication with clients, consultants, and contractors are essential parts of the job.
Candidates must hold a Bachelor of Science in Structural or Civil Engineering with a structural focus (a Master’s degree is preferred) and have 0‑2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency with analytical software such as ETABS or RAM and Revit, knowledge of engineering principles, and legal authorization to work in the United States are required.
The role involves occasional physical activities such as bending and lifting up to 20 pounds, with constant tasks like keying/fingering and seeing, and frequent activities including hearing, speaking, and walking.
