Hotspots Monitoring: Monitor hotspots, smart work zones, and changes in road/lane alignments using CCTV cameras and other sources. Communicate with various stakeholders to get a comprehensive view of road conditions.

Sign Deployment: Put up signing plans on DOT's Variable Message Signs (VMS) and Dynamic Message Signs (DMS).

Proficiency in communicating information over a radio system or network.

Situational Awareness: Understand what's happening on the State DOT road network in the Traffic Management Center (TMC).
Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively within a diverse team.
Familiarity with Regional DOT Interstates and local roadways (preferred).
Expertise in using freeway management and other traffic control computer applications.
Experience in public safety, emergency management, transportation dispatch, or related fields (preferred).
Flexibility to work alternate schedules and be on-call as necessary.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
Strong ability to write reports and correspondence.
Effective coordination of real-time activities and priorities.
