The role also supports the company's strategic planning efforts and reviews bid scope documents to ensure appropriate BIM language based on project delivery type and deliverables. In addition, the employee trains virtual construction technicians on approved software and conducts virtual walkthroughs to identify elements that are out of place.

• Create 3D models of architectural, structural, and MEP systems.
• Maintain model libraries using Uniformat or Masterformat codes.
• Support the company's strategic planning activities.
• Perform primary duties of a Virtual Construction Technician.
• Review bid scope documents for appropriate BIM language per delivery type and deliverables.
• Train virtual construction technicians on approved software.
• Conduct virtual walkthroughs to identify out‑of‑place elements.
• Occasionally stoop, kneel, or bend.
• Frequently use hands to grasp, lift, handle, or feel objects.
• Occasionally lift, push, or pull objects weighing several pounds.
• Sit, stand, or walk short distances for most of the shift.
• Frequently use telephone, computer, email, and other electronic devices for communication.

Requirements

This position serves as the technical source of modeling information for various projects. The incumbent must possess thorough knowledge of construction documents, specifications, and shop drawings, and will create 3D/4D/5D models for any given project.

Candidates need 3‑4 years of experience reading blueprints and specifications, 3‑4 years of proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and CPM scheduling software, and a four‑year degree in construction management, engineering, or architecture. They must also have 3‑4 years of construction experience and be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite.

Benefits

The salary range is $85,000‑$120,000, commensurate with knowledge, skills, education, and experience, and complies with California equal‑pay transparency rules. This position is classified as non‑safety‑sensitive.
