Support quality control/quality assurance (QA/QC)
Work under the guidance of experienced project managers
Attending internal and external client meetings
Quantity development, cost estimating and specification writing
Will lead the preparation of engineering documents for advertisement and construction. This will include plans, specifications, and cost estimates
Performing engineering calculations
Develop roadway improvements, intersection design, ADA design, bicycle facility design, site improvements, and transit facilities
Develop project work plans

Willing and capable of performing occasional field work and have a valid driver’s license

4-12 years of experience in the design of highway/roadway, civil engineering and transportation projects for Maryland counties, and local municipalities
PE certification preferred
Strong communications and technical writing skills
Adaptable and able to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
Efficient with Microsoft Office including Word and Excel
Working knowledge of MicroStation, AutoCAD, InRoads, and OpenRoads are a plus
Ability to work on multiple assignments
Strong work ethic
B.S. in Civil Engineering
