Senior Surveyor

Description

With a strong pipeline of projects across Auckland, we're looking for an experienced Senior Surveyor to join our high-performing team. You'll play a key role in delivering surveying services across a range of civil infrastructure projects - ensuring quality, accuracy, and compliance with contract specifications and programmes. As a senior member of the team, you'll also provide leadership and mentoring to junior and intermediate surveyors, promoting Downer's core values and best practices in surveying. You'll be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of survey quality across our Auckland and Upper North Island projects.

Requirements

• Experience using Leica or Trimble Total Stations and GNSS
• Proficiency in modern civil software (Civil 3D, 12D, Trimble Business Centre, etc.)
• Proven construction experience, ideally on large-scale infrastructure or Tier 1 projects
• Strong leadership and mentoring capability, with experience leading field teams
• A NZ Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor of Surveying
