You’ll keep automation projects moving by supporting data‑center startups, performing on‑site mechanical, electrical, and control checks, leading startup and acceptance testing for warehouse and manufacturing systems, and collaborating with engineers to troubleshoot and validate systems.
We’re opening our 2026 hiring pipeline for curious, adaptable problem‑solvers who love travel, hands‑on work, and being part of a team that knows your name. If you can laugh through flight delays, figure things out on the fly, and enjoy solving complex problems, this role could be a perfect fit.
We seek candidates who love travel, have a working knowledge of electrical systems, programming, and networking, display adaptability and grit, communicate effectively, live within 50 mi of a major airport, possess a personal vehicle, are authorized to work in the U.S., and hold a technical degree or at least three years of hands‑on experience in a related field.
Physical duties include walking long distances across large facilities, climbing ladders or working at heights, lifting up to 50 lb, and standing, kneeling, or reaching for extended periods in varied environments, with reasonable accommodations available.
Our four‑week paid training prepares technically skilled individuals for field work and requires a basic foundation in electrical systems, programming, and communication networking. If you lack experience in these areas, this position may not be the right match.
Working with us means combining work and travel: you’ll experience new cities, tackle unique projects, earn travel rewards, and never report to a traditional office while you’re on the road.
Compensation starts at $60,000–$75,000 depending on location, education, and experience, plus per‑diem meals, mileage reimbursement, utilization and weekend bonuses, and a culture of trust and teamwork.
We invest in your growth through paid training, annual merit raises, and a 5 % salary increase after six months, supporting a career that can move in multiple directions even if you eventually leave ProAutomated.
Benefits include health, dental, and life insurance, a matching 401(k), short‑ and long‑term disability options, paid vacation, and flexible time off after 18 months.
