- Experience leading onsite commissioning in one or more of the following areas: CT/PT wiring injection/verification, protective relay test, protective relay end-to-end test, functional verification of protection schemes, and CT/PT load verification is preferred.
- Experience reviewing and/or producing one-lines, AC/DC schematics, wiring diagrams, control panel elevations and bills of materials.
- Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and California Electrical Code (CEC) is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. ABET accredited program or equivalent required.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving standards.
- Ability to work in a high-paced team environment
- Experience leading onsite demolition and construction engineering support is preferred.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the US
- Proven experience in Microsoft Software Applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, and Access)
- Effective mentoring skills are preferred.
- Knowledge of SCADA systems and programming is a plus.
- Near expert of HV substation equipment, MV electrical (apparatus) equipment including station service, 15 kV switchgear and protective relaying.
- Experience applying and teaching protection system engineering practices and principles for HV substation and transmission equipment is a plus.
- 8+ years of engineering and commissioning experience.
- PE registration is required.
- Willing to travel 30-50% of the time.
- Familiar with application of industry standards, such as NERC PRC, is a plus
