The coordinator will support field project management, oversee preparation of site-specific safety plans, crew activity plans, work scopes, schedules and budgets, and ensure financial performance of assigned projects. They will act as the primary liaison with clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, and subcontractors while managing procurement of materials and services.
Quality and safety are central to the position; the coordinator must enforce the company’s behavior-based health‑safety program, conduct safety assessments, lead tailgate meetings, and investigate incidents. They are also responsible for reviewing field data, providing operational recommendations, and delivering routine operation reports to clients.
Additional duties include supervising staff, reviewing time sheets and expenses, onboarding new employees, coaching, performance management, and participating in talent acquisition.
SCS is seeking a Field Project Coordinator who brings extensive knowledge of health and safety requirements, terminology, processes, and equipment used in the construction and operation, maintenance, and monitoring (OM&M) of environmental control systems. The role involves managing one or more projects with a necessary field presence.
Candidates should have at least seven years of relevant OM&M or construction project management experience, current 40‑hour health‑and‑safety and OSHA certifications, and a clean driver’s license. The position offers a salary range of $70,000‑$72,800 per year and a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life, disability insurance, an employer‑funded ESOP and 401(k) match, student‑debt contributions, paid leave, safety equipment reimbursements, training, travel per diem, and, for certain roles, a company truck and cell phone.
